Community Policing Panel Visits Blind Centre
Doha, August 09 (QNA) - A panel of officials from the Community Policing Section of the North Security Department (NSD) visited the Qatar Social and Cultural Centre for the Blind (QSCCB) to enhance the role of community policing and to communicate its importance to all segments of the society, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said here Tuesday.
The Head of the Community Policing Major Ahmed Zayed Al Muhannadi and Lieutenant Shaheen Rashid Al Ateeq explained the strategy and objectives of community policing to the members at QSCCB.
The meeting was fruitful and the QSCCB officials expressed their happiness on the boosting of ties of between the MoI and the QSCCB.
The strategy of community policing is printed in Braille script to enable visually handicapped people to touch read, the MoI said.
