MONGOLIA-RUSSIA JOINT EXERCISES TO TAKE PLACE
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Armed Forces of Russia and Mongolia will conduct joint exercises dedicated to anti- terrorism actions. They will run September 1-10 in the Tavan-Tolgoi military training center near UB city.
The troops will master their skills in planning and conducting joint counter-terrorism operations and in blocking and destruction of irregular armed groups. A general management of the training and exercises will be provided by Colonel-General Alexander Postnikov, Russia's Commander of the Land Forces.
The joint anti-terrorist operations planning will be organized in Russian Buryatia's town of Kyakhta, here the sides intend to practice blocking and destroying of the irregular forces.
The practical action will attract 250 people from each side, the Russians will be represented by the 36th Army of the Eastern Military District.
