Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A woman FIDE master (WFM) U.Lhamsuren is continuing her competitions without a lose at the World Junior Chess Championships that began in Chennai, India August 2.
After five games, U.Lhamsuren is being ranked 12th with 3.5 points. She has defeated a Mexican at the first game, and had draws with her opponents from India and Bulgaria at the next games. At the fifth game, U.Lhamsuren has beaten an Armenian rival Maria Gevorgyan on the white side.
The competitions will last until August 15 after 13 games in Swiss system.

An international master of sports D.Otgondalai has satisfied a condition of winning a bronze medal in the weight category of 56 kg at the Asian Amateur Boxing Championships running on the 4th day in Incheon, the Republic of Korea.
D.Otgondalai has defeated his rivals from Japan and Kyrgyzstan. On Tuesday, he will compete with a South Korean for a silver medal.
Another boxer B.Tuvshinbat will compete Monday night with an Iraqi Zaidon Mohamed for a bronze in the category of 69 kg, whereas U.Monkh-Erdene (64 kg) and T.Chuluuntomor (75 kg) will compete for medals on Tuesday.
Other Mongolians Z.Enkhzorig (60 kg), P.Serdamba (49 kg), N.Togstsogt (52 kg) and Kh.Mandakhbayar (-91 kg) have been defeated by the rivals at the first rounds.

A young female wrestler A.Battsetseg from Darkhan-Uul province grabbed a gold medal in the girls' 52 kg at the Junior Asian Championships for Wrestling that took place August 4-7 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The tournament has attracted young wrestlers from 19 countries.
Silver medals have been won by Mongolian boys O.Byambatsogt (50 kg) and E.Togoldor (85 kg), G.Monkhtsetseg (girls' 38 kg) and Ts.Monkhzul (girls' 70 kg), whereas bronze medals--by Kh.Bolortuya (girls' 56 kg) and B.Nyamgerel (65 kg).
After the competitions, the young wrestlers will participate in the Junior World Championships to run August 23-28 in Hungary.
