New Thai Cabinet line-up to be soon submitted for King's approval
BANGKOK, August 8 (YNA) - Thailand's first female prime minister-to be Yingluck Shinawatra said on Monday that her new Cabinet line-up has been almost finalised and is likely to be submitted for a royal approval over the next couple of days.
Yingluck told reporters that her work on Thailand's new Cabinet line-up has been some 80 per cent completed and is expected to be finalised within one or two days after she is officially appointed the Kingdom's 28th prime minister in a royal command endorsed by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
Yingluck insisted that she is drawing competent and well-experienced persons into her Cabinet, including those from her Pheu Thai Party, coalition parties and even outsiders, saying that those from the coalition parties have been finalised and there will be some four outsiders in her new Cabinet-line up.
The would be-Pheu Thai premier acknowledged that she is also drawing representatives from all Thai regions into her new Cabinet althouth no quota system has been applied. (TNA)
