GCC Ministerial Council to Discuss Relations with Jordan and Morocco in September

Doha, August 06 (QNA) - The GCC Ministerial Council is set to discuss the relations between the GCC countries and each of Jordan and Morocco in its upcoming meeting in September, in implementation of the GCC leaders' decisions at the 13th consultative summit, held in Riyadh last May.
At the conclusion of the summit, Leaders of the GCC welcomed the membership of Jordan and Morocco and instructed the foreign ministers to enter into negotiations to complete the required procedures.
Informed sources told Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the GCC Ministerial Council and the General Secretariat have continued during the last months contacts with the Jordanian and Moroccan foreign ministers in order to follow up the preparations and the required studies to complete the procedures necessary to implement the GCC leaders' decision.
