FIA arrests 53 Int'l human trafficers & agents
SIALKOT, August 05, 2011 (PPI): Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested as many as 53 international human traffickers and their agents and sub agents during a vigorous crack down against them during the month of July 2011.
Deputy Director FIA Gujranwala Region Gul Sanobar Khan told the newsmen here that the said accused were wanted by FIA, as their names were included in FIA’s Red Book, as the FIA special teams raided at various places in Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial, Pasrur, Gujrat, Kamonki, Mandi Bahaud Din and Narowal and arrested them.
He said that the said accused were running their networks and were indulged in the illegal business of sending the innocent people abroad illegally by showing them the golden dreams of their lucid future in abroad besides extorting heavy amounts from them.
He said that FIA has met with great success against its massive operation against the human traffickers and their agents and sub agents, as the anti-human trafficking campaign was successfully going on in the region, as the FIA has further tightened its circles against the accused human traffickers, their agents and sub agents.
