Rs 4.5 million looted from UBL
Karachi, August 05, 2011 (PPI): Six dacoits looted more than Rs. 4.5 million from United Bank Limited (UBL) branch in the limits of Saudabad Police Station in Bin Qasim Town here on Friday, police said.
An official at the station Umar Draz said unidentified armed men entered the bank's branch at around nine in the morning and held its entire staff hostage at gunpoint and looted more than Rs. 4.5 million cash. On their way back, they (dacoits) gave back the snatched rifle to bank's security guard, the official also said.
