Security teams detain 101 illegal migrants in northwestern Turkey

EDIRNE (A.A) - August 5, 2011 - Turkish security forces detained Friday a total of 101 illegal migrants in northwestern Edirne province.
Gendarmerie and border-patrol teams caught the illegal migrants during their security controls in Edirne's Ipsala and Meric towns, and Bosnakoy village.
The illegal migrants, who were of Algerian, Syrian, Afghan, Libyan, Georgian, Ghanaian, Somali, Burmese and Eritrean origin, would be deported following legal proceedings, officials said.
