Qatar to Launch Sports Strategy 2011-2016
Doha (QNA) - Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) will launch its Sport Sector Strategy 2011-2016 here on August 8.
The Sport Sector Strategy 2011-2016 is one of the 14 key strategies within Qatar's National Development Strategy 2011-2016, the QOC said today.
The Sport Sector Strategy highlights the main goals which the country aims to achieve by 2016 depending on an accurate analysis for the current situation of sports sector .
The strategy will be based on six important domains including Sports Facilities, Media Promotion, Sports Culture and Awareness, Development of Athletes' Careers, Sports Management and Hosting the International Championships.
Qatar aims to be an advanced society capable of sustaining its development and providing a high standard of living for its entire people by 2030 as per the Qatar National Vision objectives.
