TS.ELBEGDORJ RECEIVES FIRST DEPUTY MINISTER OF SOUTH KOREA
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The State Head Ts.Elbegdorj received Thursday Mr. Park Suk-hwan, the first Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea, in a scope of a preparation for upcoming visit of S.Korean President Lee Myung-bak scheduled August 21-23.
The President has emphasized that the visit of his S.Korean counterpart will contribute to determining og the short and middle-term directions and tendencies of the bilateral relations and cooperation. Establishing a middle-term program for the Mongolia-Korea cooperation will be an important step to elevate the partnership relations of friendly cooperation and good neighborhood into the comprehensive partnership relations, he said.
"The economic collaboration and inter-citizen exchange have been widening between our countries. This puts forward a requirement to facilitate terms of travelling," he said.
"I hope that the two sides will reach a definite agreement on this matter during the forthcoming visit," Mr. Elbegdorj has stressed. The countries will have some achievement in the cooperation in education sphere, he hoped.
In turn, Mr. Park has thanked the President for the audience, and expressed his confidence that the state visit of the President Lee Myung-bak will be a fruitful one ib terms of widening the multilateral collaboration between the two countries.
He has congratulated Mongolia for taking a presidency over the Community of Democracies.
