PRESIDENT MEETS JAPANESE DELEGATION
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The President Ts.Elbegdorj received Thursday a delegation, led by Masayuki Masushita, a vice chairman of the Board of Directors of the Panasonic Corporations and deputy head of the Kansai Economic Federation (KEF). Present at this meeting was L.Purevsuren, an advisor to the State Head on foreign policy.
Mr. Masushita has thanked Ts.Elbegdorj for visiting Kansai prefecture during a state visit to Japan in November, 2010, and for giving much support to Japan in overcoming aftermath of the tsunami occurred March this year.
He has said many companies have been running environmentally-friendly and high-tech business in Kansai prefecture, and expressed a willingness to cooperate with Mongolia in developing such technologies.
The President has expressed a hope that the Japanese people will completely overcome the disaster aftermath, and appreciated Kansai prefecture's environmentally-friendly policy. The State Head has said Mongolia wants to collaborate with Japan in reducing air pollution in UB city.
