Mujawar, Azzabidi discuss promoting Attiwal outlet

HAJJA, Sep. 16 (Saba)- Governor of Hajja Farid Mujawar and Head of
Yemeni Custom Authority Ali Azzabidi discussed in their meeting held
at Attiwal outlet here a number of duties and topics concerning
performance of the outlet.

The meeting evaluated exerted efforts for easing transport measures
and trade exchange between Yemen and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting listened to a report presented by deputy head of
Attiwal custom over quantities of Yemeni exports of fisheries and
agricultural products via the outlet during last August that worth
more than YR 2 billion.

The report also included total of customs revenues for 2007 that
reached YR 8,5 billion and cars used the outlet in the same period
which reached more than 118 thousand car.

Mujawar affirmed importance of doubling efforts during Ramadan month
and easing all difficulties before all users of the outlet, noting
the work is going in the outlet for increasing more basic services
in field of electricity, asphalting roads and sanitation.

For his part Azzabidi announced that customs units will be
transmitted to the new building during the forthcoming two weeks and
that there are efforts for accelerating the work.
