Shoura Chairman visits Aden Container Port

ADEN, Sep. 16 (Saba)- Chairman of Shoura Council Abdul-Aziz
Abdul-Ghani paid Tuesday an inspection visit to Aden Container Port
where he was received by Head of Aden Gulf Port Corporation Mohammad
bin Mubarak, Aden Free Zone Director Abdul-Jalil Ashuaibi and
Director General of Container Port Aref Bin Adhed.

Abdul-Ghani stressed that the work of promoting Aden Free Zone must
represent one of the important aims for partnership with Dupai
International Ports Company (DIPC) for creating job opportunities
and other economic opportunities.

He listened from concerned officials to explanation on developments
the port has witnessed after signing the contract with DIPC.

Bin Mubarak indicated that the treaty signed with the company
stipulates on establishing the joint company that would promote
establishing company between the corporation and the company with 50
percent for each.

He said that according partnership's contract, the port would be
developed by two stages the first one would last for five years
while the second would start after 12 years.
