Al-Zandani: President supported me for AP position

CAIRO, Sep. 17 (Saba)- Parliament member and chairman of Foreign
Relation Committee Mansour al-Zandani affirmed on Tuesday that
Yemen's wining of the post of vice speaker of Arab Parliament (AP)
came to reflect the role of president Ali Abdullah Saleh in the
service of Arab issues.

In a statement to Saba, al-Zandani praised the main support of
President Ali Abdullah Saleh to win this post, affirming that Yemen
will play an important role in those issues during the coming period.

It is worth to mention that al-Zandani won for position of vice
speaker of the Arab Parliament in the elections that took place on
Monday September 15 at the Arab League in Cairo.
