GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee to hold session

Jeddah, September 16 , SPA -- The 77th Session of GCC Financial and
Economic Cooperation Committee will be held here tomorrow at the
level of Arab Finance and Economy Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation
Council (GCC).

The Kingdom's delegation will be headed by Minister of Finance Dr.
Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf.

During the meeting, a number of financial and economic topics will be
discussed, particularly the activation of the proposal of the
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to
speed up performance and remove obstacles that hinder the march of
GCC joint action. The proposal was delivered in the 28th Session of
GCC Supreme Council held in Doha, Qatar, last December.
