UB MAYOR RECEIVES YOUNG FOOTBALLERS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city G.Monkhbayar received Tuesday Franco Baresi, one of the top footballer of the 20th century at the National team of Italy and the AC Milan. Present were also four Mongolian children who have been awarded a right to participate in the World Children's Camp to run October in Italy.
In frames of the "Teenage camp of Milan-Ulaanbaatar 2011" project, initiated by the Mayor, 200 young football players had a three-day training, and then four boys have been selected--T.Ankhbayar, A.Monkh-Orgil and S.Mendsaikhan from the city's schools and G.Ganbayar from Selenge aimag for the World Children's Camp.
The Mayor has said he is satisfied with the transparent and comprehensible selection, wished a success to these boys who are to trained by the world's top footballer. "You are next footballers of the PC Ulaanbaatar that has been set up recently. I do hope the Mongolian footballers will become the world stars," G.Monkhbayar has said and promised to augment investments in developing of football here.
G.Monkhbayar has thanked authorities of some Mongolian companies such as APU, Orgil, Oyunii Undraa and Sod Mongol for inviting Mr Baresi and making investments in the events. He has appreciated a meeting with Franco Baresi and emphasized that this was a big contribution to the next generation.
