Prince Salman chairs meeting of Higher Commission for

Riyadh, September 16, SPA -- Prince Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, Governor
of Riyadh region presided over the Fourth meeting of the Higher
Commission for Development of Riyadh City for the year 1429 AH.

A member of the Commission and head of its Center of projects and
planning Abdul-Latif bin Abdul-Malik Al-Sheikh said the meeting's
participants were informed about the Commission's development works
and functioning for the financial year 1428 / 1429 AH. This included
development of road networks in Riyadh comprising 33 projects of
which 22 are under implementation and 11 projects are in the design
phase.

Al-Sheikh said the Commission agreed in this meeting to a series of
requests from the private sector for various special projects which
are as follows:

1 - establishment of a residential area of integrated
facilities of three million square meters located at King Khaled road
in the north-west of Riyadh city in Al-mlqa region.
2 - a hospital district at Khurais road in Al Rayyan enclave.

3 - establishment of a children's hospital at King Abdullah
road in Al-Waha enclave.
4 - establishment of six hotels in different locations of the
city.
5 - establishment of a commercial office complex on the ring
road in the eastern enclave of Al-Azdhaar.
6 - establishment of the headquarters of the King Abdul Aziz
Center for National Dialogue on the ring road in the northern enclave
of Al-Nafal.
