Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A young wrestler and a gold medalist of the Youth Olympic champion B.Battsetseg won a bronze medal in the women's 59 kg category, at the Youth World Championships for Wrestling held July 26-31 in Bucharest, Romania.
Apart of Mongolia, the competitions have brought together male and female wrestlers from Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Great Britain, the USA, Brazil, the Republic of Korea, China, Vietnam, the Netherlands, Greece, Georgia and Denmark.
Mongolia was represented there by 14 wrestlers from the state youth selected team, but the only one who has grabbed the medal was B.Battsetseg. They have been coached by B.Batbayar and Ts.Bayarsaikhan.

Mongolian bodybuilding athletes successfully competed in the 45th Bodybuilding and Fitness Asian Championships that took place last week in Ulaanbaatar.
It has been co-organized by Federations of Bodybuilding and Fitness of Mongolia and Asia under auspices of the Prime Minister S.Batbold. Some 120 athletes have taken part in it from 16 countries.
The Mongolians have grabbed one gold, three silver and five bronze medals overall. In a category of men's fitness contest, the gold, silver and bronze have gone to Ch.Tsogtbaatar, N.Purevnyam and S.Battushig, respectively.
In the women's fitness contest, T.Oyun-Erdene has won a bronze medal, and a twice Asian champion S.Sarangua--a silver medal in the women's 55 kg catgory.
