UZBEKISTAN`S INDEPENDENCE DAY MARKED IN BAKU

Baku,16 September,(AzerTAj)Uzbekistan`s Embassy in Azerbaijan organized Monday an official reception to mark the country`s Independence Day.

In his remarks, Uzbek Ambassador to Baku Ismatilla Ergashev praised the current
relationships between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
The Ambassador stressed his country supports Azerbaijan`s fair stance on the
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Attending the event, Azerbaijan`s Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov congratulated
the Uzbek people. According to him, Azerbaijan-Uzbek relations are successfully
developing.
Mr. Eyyubov praised Uzbekistan`s support for territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
State and government officials, foreign ambassadors to Azerbaijan and others were
present at the event.
