PRESIDENT EXTENDS CONDOLENCES TO NORWAY

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The President Ts.Elbegdorj sent Thursday a telegram of condolences to His Majesty Harald V, the King of Norway.
"We were shocked by news about horrendous act of bomb blast in Oslo and the shootings on island Utoeya that took place July 22, 2011 and took away human lives and wounded many youth and adolescents. May we convey our heartfelt sorrow and sympathy to Your Majesty, and through You to the families of the victims and the people of Norway.
"We are firmly confident that such violence and terrorism aimed to destroy democracy, free choice and peaceful life can not frighten the people of Norway.
"The people of Mongolia will continue supporting the efforts and active participation of the government and the people of Norway in building peace in Afghanistan and fighting against international terrorism," the telegram says.
