WHO GRANTS FACILITIES TO NAT'L CENTER OF REHABILITATION
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The World Health Organization (WHO) has given treatment facilities costing MNT 7.2 million to the National Center for Rehabilitation (NCR) at the Ministry of Social Welfare and Labor.
This ceremony ran Tuesday in the Ministry with participation of Dr. Wiwat Rojanapithayakorn, the WHO representative to Mongolia; T.Gandi, the Minister of Social Welfare and Labor; and D.Monkhbat, head of the NCR.
The facilities are granted in respect of a request of the Minister to collaborate with the WHO in improving diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of the disabled and strengthening capability of the NCR.
Medical doctors, nurses, the NCR staffers, Department of Labor and Service, and the National Center of Occupational Medicine have been granted certificates for studying in nursing training in Singapore. The four-stage training will run from August in a scope of a program co-implemented by the Ministry of Social Welfare and Labor and the Temasec Foundation of Singapore.
