V.I. CHURKIN IS VISITING

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In frames of marking the 100th anniversary of founding of Mongolia's contemporary diplomatic service, the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Mongolia-Russia diplomatic relations, and the 50th anniversary of Mongolia's joining the UN, the Permanent Representative and Ambassador of the Russian Federation (RF) to the United Nations (UN) Mr. V.I. Churkin has started a visit to Mongolia.
He has been invited by D.Tsogtbaatar, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the visit, Mr Churkin has held a meeting with D.Tsogtbaatar to share views on the Mongolia-Russia relations and cooperation and on the bilateral collaboration within the international community.
In addition, Mr Churkin has given a lecture themed "A tendency of an intergovernmental agreement on reforming the UN Security Council" to scientists of the Center of Strategic Studies, teachers and students of universities and diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His lecture has focused on activities of the UN Security Council and on international matters.
