Yingluck confirms her cabinet line-up will satisfy people

BANGKOK, July 26 (TNA) - Would-be prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra insists she would base the formation of her cabinet on people’s needs, and her ministers will be capable of solving people’s problems.

Yingluck, the Pheu Thai Party’s top list MP, dismissed Tuesday the involvement of her elder brother and former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra in the selection of cabinet members, saying that filling of ministerial portfolios was the work of the Party executive board.

Yingluck also said that there was no conclusion on the cabinet line-up for the moment and that she had not approached the Bangkok Bank president Wichit Surapongchai to serve as deputy finance minister.

She added it was good for the society to pay attention to the formation of her cabinet and that it prompted her to base the formation on people’s needs. (TNA)
