Minju Joson Dismisses "Jongmi Seven-point Treaty" as Illegal

Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- "The Jongmi Seven-point Treaty" was a fraudulent document lacking any binding power as it was fabricated by those who had no certificates investing them with full power, quite contrary to the norms of international and domestic laws amid the armed threat and blackmailing of the Japanese imperialists.
Minju Joson Sunday says this in a bylined article.
The signatories to the treaty did not have the above-said certificates and the treaty failed to get the signature of Kojong, the supreme sovereign of Korea at that time. And they robbed the Korean Emperor of the seal of the state and the foreign minister of his seal to put them on the text of the "treaty".
Japan is trying to justify its history of aggression, the article notes, and goes on:
It is also working hard to realize its military reinvasion of Korea again, zealously taking advantage of the U.S. strategy of dominating Asia.
