Iran welcomes arrest of Balkan war criminal
Tehran, July 25, IRNA -- Foreign Ministry spokesman on Sunday welcomed the arrest of Goran Hadzic, Croatian Serb leader involved in war crimes against the Muslim population in the Balkans from 1991-1993.
Ramin Mehmanparast welcomed the seizure of the last convicted of the International Criminal Court in The Hague for war crimes in the Balkans.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran believes that the efforts underway to find a solution to the crisis in the Balkans will hopefully lead to justice, coexistence and lasting peace,' he said./end
