British support for education in Yemen discussed

SANA'A, Sep 15 (Saba) - Foreign minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi discussed
on Monday with the British Cultural Council director Michael White
British support for projects aimed at improving education in the
country.

White expressed Britain readiness to prepare a program for
developing education in Yemen with a focus on scientific domain,
curricula and teaching methods.

Al-Qirbi said the council plays a vital role in supporting education
in Yemen and hopes to advance future cooperation between Yemen and
the council.
