NATO, Pakistani security forces exchange fire in South Waziristan

Islamabad, Sept 15 PPI: NATO forces deployed in Afghanistan and Pakistan security forces on Monday had exchange of fire at Angoor Adda in Pakistan's South Waziristan tribal area, Radio Pakistan reported.



Local residents and officials said NATO forces targeted Pakistani territory with
automatic and heavy weapons fire.



They said foreign forces tried to intrude Pakistani territory but Pakistani forces
and local tribesmen forced them to retreat. There was no immediate report of any
casualties or damage.
