Politics-(Salim, Nisar Mohammad leave for Saudia to perform Umrah)
Islamabad, July 22, 2011 (PPI): President Pakistan Muslim League (Like minded), Senator Salim Saifullah Khan and Senior Vice President Nisar Mohammad Khan leaved for Saudi Arabia on Friday, to offer Umrah where they will stay as Royal Guests, hold meetings with high officials of Saudi Arabia to discuss with them regional and bilateral issues.
Senator Salim Saifullah Khan before leaving for Saudi Arabia talking to Deputy Secretary Information Col (R) Khalid Munir said that Pakistan and Saudi Arab are time tested friends.
He said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are two strong states and are contributing to regional and global peace efforts. He said that with their solidarity and historical ties of brotherhood, no regional problem could become an obstacle to their peace and stability.
He said Saudi Arabia had been a part of the friends of democratic Pakistan group from the very beginning and had always underlined the need stability.
He said that cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia was not limited to bilateral ties, but covered a much broader ground. He said that Saudi Arabia had always extended its support to Pakistan at every critical time whether it was flood earth-quack or any other crisis.
He said Pakistan had always occupied a special place in the hearts and minds of the Saudi government and people like wise. He said Saudi Government and its people have always supported Pakistan in time of crisis and the people of Pakistan have great regards for the people of Saudi Arab and its government.
He also appreciated that Saudi Arabia had generously pledged and timely disbursed its pledge of $700 million of assistance to Pakistan at the Donors Conference held in Tokyo and had steadfastly stood by Pakistan in every crisis.
He said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were the most important countries of their regions and occupied prominent place in Muslim World. He said it was also proud for the whole Muslim world that Pakistan being an Islamic country was the only nuclear power. Salim Saifullah Khan and Nisar Mohammad Khan thanked Saudi Govt for being invited as a Royal Guests during their stay in Saudi Arabia.
