Foreign lady arrested for smuggling “haram” meat and liquor
Gilgit-Baltistan, July 21, 2011 (PPI): A foreign lady was nabbed here Thursday at a check post by Saoust Customs on the charges of smuggling “haram” meat (not permitted by the Shariah) and liquor.
As per details, Anze Bion Lin holding passport number G-272178047 was searched by the authorities when she was on board in a passenger coach bearing registration number A-39418 which was coming from China and was destined for Islamabad. 120 bottles of foreign made liquor and 73 kg of meat were recovered from the lady. Police has registered a case in this regard.
