PARA ATHLETES WIN MEDALS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Mongolian para athletes have grabbed medals in the Open State Championships of Russia for Athletics. Organized in Cheboksary city, the events have given their winners the Olympic rights.
Not only Russian but aso other 1,000 para athletes have take part from Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Korea, and technical representatives of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).
A Mongolian B.Ganbaatar has won gold medals in discus throw and shot-put in the F53 category. Bronze medals have been gained by D.Badral (F33) in the shot-put contest, and by Ch.Monkh-Erdene (F58) in the shot-put. Moreover, S.Bayarnaran (F37) also has been qualified for the Paralympic Games to partake in discus throw.
This year, the Mongolian para athletes have won in total three gold, four silver and two bronze medals in the World championships that took place in Russia, Turkey and Ukraine and in other international tournaments.

A young judoist P.Bolortuya has won a bronze medal in the women's 52 kg of the World Championships for Visually-Challenged Judoists that took place in the USA. She has been coached by an international master of sports Bazarsuren.
