U.S., S. Korea Plan to Stage Joint War Maneuvers against DPRK

Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- The U.S. and south Korea are planning to stage Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises from August 16 to 26, according to south Korean MBC.
This plan was announced by the south Korea-U.S. "Combined Forces Command" on July 18.
Hurled into the exercises will be more than 30 000 U.S. troops including those from overseas bases and huge south Korean forces.
They have staged the maneuvers across south Korea every year with latest nuclear war hardware and even civilians involved.
