Iran prosecutor-general urges IAEA to make fair decisions

Tehran, Sept 15, IRNA - Prosecutor-General Qorban-Ali Dorri Najafabadi on Monday urged the IAEA chief to refrain from political hue and cry on Iran's peaceful nuclear program.

Talking to IRNA, he called on Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Mohamed ElBaradei, to express his views on Iran's peaceful nuclear activities on the basis of justice.

He said the UN Security Council and the Group 5+1 should follow up
discussions on Iran's nuclear issue.

The Islamic Republic of Iran believes that producing nuclear energy is its legitimate and inalienable right, he said, adding that the Iranian nation is determined to continue with the true path.

He urged the UN nuclear watchdog not to follow the global arrogance
and try to present real reports, adding that there has been no
deviation in Iran's peaceful nuclear activities.

Denouncing any kind of sanction, threat and pressure, Dorri Najafabadi stressed that the issue would be resolved through fair negotiations without any preconditions.

Condemning the Western governments double standard towards nuclear
programs of various countries, he called on the IAEA and the US to
counter the Zionist regime stockpiling nuclear weapons.
