New "World Record for Thai Massage"
Ubon Ratchathani, July 16 (TNA) - People in Ubon Ratchathani province have set a new world record of the biggest Thai massage event involving 2,699 pairs of masseurs and clients.
Governor Surapon Saiphan chaired Saturday’s event as part of celebrations to mark the Buddhist Lent, joined by representatives from the Guinness World Records.
Vying for the new “World Record for Thai Massage” was a group of 5,398 participants, who replaced an existing record set in Chiang Mai last month.
Highlighting the activity was a therapy to physically relax body tendons, which was seen as a spectacular show of Thai health wisdom for the international community. (TNA)
