Yemen, Russia in talks
SANA'A, Sep 14 (Saba) - The parliament secretary general Abdullah Ahmed Sufan met on Sunday with the Russian ambassador to Yemen Vladimir Trofimov.
At the meeting Trofimov briefed Sufan on the latest developments in the Caucasus region and Russia's efforts to bring stability and peace to the area.
The meeting also dealt with issues of mutual concern and stressed the importance of
boosting bilateral relations between Yemen and Russia, particularly in the
parliamentary field.
Sufan touched upon the development in the relations between the two countries
parliaments, pointing to their unified positions over several regional and
international issues.
