Saudi students, Patients in Texas are safe

Riyadh, September 14, SPA -- Prince Khalid Bin Saud Bin Khalid, the
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the
initial information received by the Ministry from Houston, the United
States of America confirmed the safety of Saudi nationals there,
following the impact of Hurricane Ike on Texas state on Saturday.

The Prince said, " The initial information received by the Ministry
from Houston in the United States of America indicated the safety of
Saudi nationals in the affected areas. The Saudi consulate in Houston
was able to evacuate Saudi students and patients from coastal and
nearby hurricane area to inland safe hotels and houses."
