Party leader joins southern children at full moon festival
Tra Vinh (VNA) - Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh joined and presented gifts to more than 300 children at a Mid-Autumn Festival in southern Tra Vinh province on Sept. 13 evening.
The Party leader, who is on a two-day tour of Tra Vinh, congratulated and praised the outstanding children who represent 130,000 local peers. He took this occasion to extend greetings to Vietnamese children nationwide and abroad, as well as foreign children living in Vietnam.
"This year's full moon festival comes just after the fresh opening of the
new school year, you should spare no efforts in study to become good
children of parents and grandparents, excellent pupils of teachers and
obedient children of Uncle Ho," he said.
Party General Secretary Manh applauded local authorities' attention and care
to children and asked them to continue giving the best to the younger
