Endorsed MPs report to Thai Parliament

BANGKOK, July 14 (TNA) - The first batch of elected MPs who were officially endorsed by the Election Commission of Thailand (EC) on July 12 have now begun reporting themselves to the Thai Parliament.

The endorsed MPs are required to first receive a certified document at the EC headquarters before reporting themselves to the Thai Parliament.

Komdej Chaisiwamongkol, the elected MP of the constituency 8 in Thailand's northeastern Kalasin Province was the first who reported himself to the Parliament on Thursday.

All the newly-elected Thai MPs will each receive a monthly salary of 113,560 baht, an increase from 104,330 baht of the last batch of MPs elected before the country's new national poll on July 3. (TNA)
