STATE PRIZES AWARDED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On occasion of the 2220th anniversary of the first Mongolian Statehood--Hun Empire, the 805th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire, the 100th anniversary of the Revolution of National Freedom and the 90th anniversary of the People's Revolution, state prizes have been awarded by the President.
A title of Hero of Labor--accompanied by the Golden Soyombo Medal and the Order of Sukhbaatar--has been bestowed upon Ch.Nasantogtokh, a People's Teacher and State Honored Coach, a coach of the state selected team for judo, for significant contribution to training judoists who have showed brilliant successes at Olympic Games, World Championships and other international competitions.
A title of State Honored Figures have been given to those who have worked for many years with great effectiveness in the fields of socio-economics, arts, culture, sports, health, industry, sciences, law, agriculture and other sectors. The State Honored Teacher title has gone to U.Demberelnyambuu, a senior teacher; the State Honored Pilot title--to G.Jargalsaikhan, the first pilot of a Boeing 737-800 airplane; the State Honored Sportsperson title--to B.Gangaamaa, a manager of “Mongolia Expedition” LLC and to G.Erdenebileg, a Grand Master for 10x10 draughts; the State Honored Economist title--to N.Zoljargal, a vice-president of the Bank of Mongolia; the State Honored Medical Doctor title--to D.Tumkhuu, a pediatrician of Gobi-Altai aimag's hospital; the State Honored Industrial Worker title--to B.Ganbaatar, a general engineer of 3 thermal power station; the State Honored Artist title--to E.Amartuvshin, a soloist of the State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, to L.Battulga, an artist of “X-Tsuts” group, to L.Gombosuren, a producer of Sukhbaatar aimag's theatre, to J.Oyundari, an actress of the Academic Theatre of Drama, and to G.Khishigdagva, a trainer of the Mongolian National Circus; the State Honored Figure of Arts title--to Ch.Davaasuren, a head of the State Philharmonics, to B.Dolgion and to L.Nasanbat, the composers; the State Honored Cultural Figure title--to D.Baskhuu, the general-secretary of “Union of Mongolian Ankle-Bone Shooting” NGO, to D.Bilgee, a presenter of Mongolian National Public Radio and Television; the State Honored Worker for Environment title--to O.Dorjraa, head of a national commission for rare animals at the Ministry of Environment and Tourism.
Moreover, the Red Flag Order of Labor Merit, the Red Flag Order of Military Merit, the North Star Order, the Order of Military Merit, and the Honorary Medal of Labor have bee awarded to other foremost people.
