AIHD Mahidol University serves the world
BANGKOK, July 13 (TNA) - The ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), under Thailand's Mahidol University, now serves as the world’s first and only training centre in the field of primary healthcare management, with hundreds of graduate students and heath personnel from 10 member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) enrolling each year.
Recognized as one of the world’s leaders in public health development studies, AIHD has been established to advance the conceptually challenging perspectives on human resource development not only in Thailand, but in the 10-member ASEAN bloc as a whole.
The Bangkok-based institute has continually strived for academic excellence and has made major contribution to the regional society over the past 25 years, through several international short training courses in higher education, research projects, academic services, as well as domestic and international collaboration.
