Purging Karachi from arms is a must to restore peace: Sharmila
Karachi, July 12, 2011 (PPI): Peace can prevail here if the city is purged from arms and ammunition, said Pakistan People’s Party Women Wing Information Secretary Sindh Sharmila Farooqi in a press release issued Tuesday.
In order to do so, all political parties and the civil society will have to assemble at a platform and play due role, she also said.
She specified that it is government’s top priority to restore peace in the province, especially Karachi and added that law enforcement agencies have been directed by the authorities to take the peace disrupters to task.
She urged the entire nation to stand against all evil forces that are damaging country’s image.
