FM returns to Sana'a after AL participation
SANA'A, Sep. 13 (Saba)- Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi returned to Sana'a after taking part in the 130th round of the Arab League (AL) at the level of foreign ministers which was held recently in Cairo.
Al-Qirbi told Saba that the round discussed a number of issues, out of which situations of Sudan, Palestine and Somalia, making clear that the round came out
with a statement affirming conciliation between Palestinian parties of according to
the Yemeni initiative which was approved by Damascus summit.
He added that the round approved forming an Arab committee presided by Qatar FM to
resolve the problem of Sudan and International Court as well as to commence
conciliation between the Somali factions.
The Somali committee at the AL called for sending aid to alleviate poverty
sufferings and called Security Council to send peace keeping forces to Somalia, he
said.
