Progress in investment environment reflected on progress of reforms, says al-Arhabi
SANA'A, Sep. 13 (Saba)- Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul-Kareem al-Arhabi affirmed on Saturday that notable progress in investment environment in Yemen reflected positively on progress released in reforms agenda and performance of the government.
In a statement to Saba, al-Arhabi said that the international indications of World Bank and Heritage Foundation for Economic Freedom have showed that Yemen realized positive results at economic and investment levels.
He pointed out to the recent report of the International Finance Corporation IFC
which showed improvement in the Yemeni performance especially in field of doing
business.
Such achievement reflected success of the policies of the government of Yemen
including reforms, which receive support of the political leadership represented by
president Lai Abdullah Saleh, he said.
