Blind Man Restores Sight

Dammam, Saudi Arabia, September 13, SPA--A blind man restored his
sight after losing it for more than a year following a successful
operation at Imam Abdulrahman Al-Faisal of the National Guard in the
Eastern Sector in Dammam yesterday.

In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Executive Director
General for Health Affairs at the National Guard and Director of King
Saud University for Health Sciences Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabiah said that
the elderly man who suffered a gradual loss of vision for more than
six years underwent three operations in a single one lasted two and a
half hours, noting that results of the surgery were remarkable after
a corneal transplantation from a donor.
