HH the Emir to Witness Signing Ceremony of Peace Deal between Sudanese Government, Liberation and Justice Movement

Doha, July 11 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani will witness on Thursday 14/07/2011 the signing ceremony of a peace agreement between the Sudanese government and the Liberation and Justice Movement.
HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed Bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud told Qatar News Agency (QNA).
Al Mahmoud said that signing ceremony will be attended by Sudan's President Omar Hassan Ahmed Al Bashir and a number of their excellencies the heads of the states neighbouring Sudan.
It will also be attended by the African Union, the United Nations, the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and regional and international partners.
It is worth mentioning that the signing of the peace agreement between the Sudanese government and the Liberation and Justice Movement is based on the Doha document on Darfur Peace which approved by All Darfur Stakeholders Conference and received regional and international support from organisations such as the Arab League, the African Union, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the United Nations, and UN Security Council.
