QRCS Implements $27.5 million Projects in Gaza

Doha , July 11 (QNA) - Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) is carrying $27.5 million projects in the Gaza Strip on Water and sanitation sector, medical supplies to support the relief efforts and restoration program, the Society said today in a press release.
The seventeen projects have reached 50 percent completion with a completion date eyed within few months, QRCS said.
The press release stressed QRCS's keenness to provide humanitarian aid for the Palestinian citizens.
The Palestinian Health Ministry has earlier sent a letter of appreciation, at which it expressed gratitude and thanks for the ongoing efforts made by QRCS aimed at funding health projects in Gaza.
The letter underlined QRCS 's contribution in the completion of the surgery department at Al Shifa Medical Complex and solving the situation of the shortage of medicines faced by the pharmaceutical sector in the besieged Strip. (QNA)
