MUD TO BE DISCHARGED TO SEA

After the government is convinced that the hot mudflow in Sidoarjo District, East Java Province, could not be halted, now the mudflow handling is focused on efforts to discharge mud directly to sea. Therefore, a canal, having a length of 14.6 km and a width of 200 meters, is being set up to discharge mud from its source to sea.
