Kuwaiti Premier Expresses Pleasure over Visit to Qatar

Doha, July 07 (QNA) - Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohamed Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has expressed pleasure over his visit to his second Qatar and his presence among the Qatari people to whom he harbours amity, appreciation and sincere brotherly affection.
In a statement he gave upon arrival at Doha International Airport, the Kuwaiti Prime Minister said his visit to the State of Qatar came as an embodiment of the close historical links and the close brotherly relations between the people of the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States (GCC) "which we consider as unique and distinct".
He added that the close relations between the two countries, whose foundations were laid by the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani through the ongoing meetings, consultations and coordination, reflect the ties and brotherly feelings between the two peoples.
The Kuwaiti Prime Minister said he is looking forward to meeting with the brothers in the State of Qatar to continue consultations between the two brotherly countries on all issues, regional and international developments.
Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohamed Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah said he will convey the greetings, appreciation and best wishes of the Emir of Kuwait and the Crown Prince and the Kuwaiti people to HH the Emir, the Heir Apparent and the Qatari people, wishing them further progress and prosperity. (QNA)
