Al-Alimi calls Al-Jawf locals to hold two-year conciliation
AL-JAWF, Sep. 12 (Saba)- Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and
Security Affairs Rashad al-Alimi held a meeting on Friday with
locals of al-Jawf governorate locals in which he called them to hold
a two-year conciliation to enable the government to put solutions
for social problems and tribal revenges in the governorate.
This call is help the government implement President Ali Abdullah
Saleh's platform and the development, economic and social plan which
was presented by al-Jawf governor to the government, he said.
During the meeting, he listened to issues and developments of
concern to the governorate's citizens.
He also urged locals of al-Jawf to cooperate to work with the
government to achieve this strategic goal in order to achieve social
stability in the government as well as to settle peace among tribes,
affirming that the governorate acquires priority in the leadership's
development plans.
Al-Alimi pointed out to what the country has passed through during
the recent period at the political, democratic, development and
social levels.
He praised decision of President Ali Abdullah Saleh to pardon those
behind riot acts in some governorates which affected development and
investment works, noting that this indicates his pardon and
tolerance discipline.
For his part, Minister of Interior Rashad al-Masri reviewed
achievements in the fields of security and fighting terror,
praising cooperation of al-Jawf citizens to arrest out-law people.
On the other hand, Minister of Tourism Nabil al-Faqih affirmed that
the al-Jawf governorate is a tourist place and cannot be deleted
from the tourist map of Yemen.
He announced intention of the ministry to establish a desert mud
village in the governorate within the project of desert tourism
