GIFTED ONES CAN STUDY ABROAD IN TOP UNIVERSITIES
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A rule has been approved by the cabinet on selection of the most successful students to study in the world's top universities and institutes with financing from the state fund of training.
An obligation has been given to related Ministers to select the students who will study in 50 universities majoring in engineering and technology, and to reflect money in the annual state budget for implementing this action.
As the rule says, the youth who want to undergo the selection must be holders of gold, silver or bronze medals from state Olympiads for mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and informatics, or be participants of international Olympiads, must be studying currently at 1st or 2nd grades at accredited universities and institutes and have average mark of 3.5.
The Ministry of Education, Culture and Science will announce the selection through websites and public media.
The rule has been approved in accordance with a parliamentary decision to reflect three billion togrog in the state budget for training skillful students in the best universities.
It says that after graduation these young people must work in homeland for five years at least.
