GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE SHARES OF UP TO 300 BILLION TOGROG

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The cabinet has allowed S.Bayartsogt, the Minister of Finance, to issue MNT 100 billion worth shares for giving soft-loans to producers of woolen yarns and final goods. The loans will be granted in stages according to specific needs.
In addition, the governmental shares of MNT 200 billion will be issued to support preparers and producers of sheep and camel wool, and small- and middle-sized productions. The governmental support is expected to keep some 6,000 job places in the cashmere sector and create new jobs. The shares isuue would be an important step to augment production and export of Mongolian cashmere products, as supposed.
